Perdana Receives Contract Extension From Petronas Worth RM68 Million

Perdana Petroleum Berhad has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd received multiple work order amendment and extension from Petronas Carigali for one unit of Anchor Handling Tug & Supply vessel.

The contract extension involves the amendment to the extension period for multiple contracts the group had an agreement with Petronas Carigali, the total 5 contract extension is valued at approximately RM68 million.

Under the contract Perdana is to provide 1-unit of AHTS vessel with crew and equipment to perform a continuous twenty-four hours service for the purpose of assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installations, derrick barges, towing and anchor job for Petronas Carigali.

The group expects the contacts to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of PPB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2024.
