BNM Reserves Drops In February To US$114.3 Billion

The international reserves of Bank Negara Malaysia amounted to USD114.3 billion as at 29 February 2024. The reserves position is sufficient to finance 5.4 months of imports of goods and services1 and is 1.0 times of the total short-term external debt.

The figure is lower compared to January 2024 when the overall international reserves stood at US4114.8 billion.
