Epicon Berhad through its wholly owned subsidiary Transnational Builder Sdn. Bhd. had received a letter of award from Maju Teluk Batik Sdn. Bhd. for 2 apartment block projects in Perak worth approximately RM191 million.
The project includes for the construction of the main building works of 2 apartments (Apartment A & D), 1 carpark building (Carpark 1), ancillary building, mechanical and electrical services, infrastructure and landscape works for a mixed development in Bandar Meru Raya, Perak.
The Contract period is thirty-six months which is expected to commence on 19 March 2024 and be completed on 18 March 2027.
The company said it does not expect any material risk arising from the Letter of Award other than the normal operational risks associated with the Letter of Award and the business risk within the industry which the Company would take appropriate measures to minimise it.
