EITA announced that TransSystem Continental Sdn. Bhd., a 60%-owned subsidiary had received a Letter of Acceptance from Tenaga Nasional Berhad on the project for a PMU 132/33kV Ayer Puteh (2 X 90MVA), Perak.
The contract sum worth RM47.9 million which involves for TSC to supply, erect, test and commission a new 132kV conventional outdoor transmission substation. Other works include the civil, transmission lines and remote ends relay retrofits.
The contract will be effective from 8 March 2024 and the time for completion shall be seven hundred thirty days from the commencement date.
EITA said the contract will not have any material effect on the net assets and gearing for the financial year ending 30 September 2024 and is expected to contribute positively to its earnings.
