Suwnay Construction announced that it has entered into a Project Services Request with a multinational technology corporation headquartered in the United States in respect of the construction and completion of a Data Center located in Selangor Darul Ehsan.
Based on its filing, the total lump sum price for the Works is RM747.8 million inclusive of withholding taxes, sales and service tax and all taxes. It stated the works are scheduled to commence no later than the estimated start date of 15 May 2024 and the Works will be divided in four sections, each with designated completion dates. The final section is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2027.
SunCon said the project is subject to the normal construction risk of material price fluctuations. However, with the past experience and expertise of SCSB in construction projects, these risks could be mitigated.
