KPS Appoints New MBI CEO To The Board

Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor, a state agency under Selangor has appointed Ts. Saipolyazan Mat Yusop a former UEM Edgenta head as the group’s non independent executive director.

His appointment comes as he has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer replacing Pn Norita who’s term expired at Menter Besar Incorporated which is the investment arm of the state that KPS is placed under.

According to Bursa filing, the new CEO possesses over thirty years of experience spanning both the public and private sectors, including roles in foreign-based entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He served as the Head of Country (KSA) for UEM Edgenta Berhad and as the Chief Executive Officer for Edgenta Arabia Limited, as well as the Head of Facility Management for Alborj Facility Management Ltd. During his time in UEM Edgenta Berhad.

Ts. Saipolyazan also served as a board member of UEM Mediserve Sdn Bhd. Additionally, he has acquired expertise across various domains such as facilities management, asset management, infrastructure solutions, project management, planning & development and administration & management of zakat funds during his tenure as the former CEO of Lembaga Zakat Selangor.

As for Puan Norita prior to being appointed as the CEO of MBI she was the Chief Operating Officer of PKNS and played a pivotal in administering the Selangor state assets and investment, playing a significant role in promoting and supporting state development efforts as well as social and public responsibilities.
