Kumpulan Jetson has informed that its subsodiary, Jetson Construction had received an originating summons from one of its vendors Mercu Binaraya on December 2023 for unpaid work.
The group said the dispute arose out of a construction contract for a project known as proposed construction of a private higher institution which include three phases including accommodation and laboratory at a plot in Technology Park Malaysia, Selangor.
In response to the OS, Kumpulan Jetson said JCSB is not a major subsidiary of the company as per the definition set out under Chapter 1 of the Main Market Listing Requirements. And that the claims are not expected to have any material financial and operational impact as the amount indebted of RM1,155,922.03 has been accounted for in the Jetson Construction’s financial statement, except for the interest and cost.
The company said it is seeking legal advice on the above matter and further announcement will be made on any material development
