IOI City Mall To Stay Closed As Power Outage Issue Unresolved

IOI City Mall Putrajaya which reported blackout due to power outage has updated its social posting from reopening in the afternoon to now full closure for the day.

The shopping mall which is among the largest in Malaysia, announced in the morning that the power outage is expected to be fixed by Tenaga Nasional not later than by 1pm, however the mall management posted on its Facebook page at 4pm that the situation is still not resolved.

Here’s the notice:

As of now, TNB has identified multiple faults and is working on rectifications. However, TNB is unable to guarantee when the power supply will be restored due to the complexity of the issues.

Therefore, in the best interest of all our valued tenants and customers, our mall will not be in operation today. This allows TNB more time for their rectification works.

We thank you for your patience and understanding and look forward to welcoming you back very soon.
