With the big Hari Raya holidays just a couple of days away, many city folks are already making their way back to their hometown in what could be only defined as the beginning of a mass exodus.
While the major highways leading to both north and south start seeing traffic pile up, the bad news is they are going to get worse. As of 4pm today, reports are already streaming on traffic congestion on the KL Karak highway with a substantial increase of vehicles and PLUS also reporting similar situation with traffic slowing down on the opposite direction of the city.
Highway Authority, LLM noted the unusual slowdown of vehicles from Gombak heading to the Genting tunnel where the roads are slightly inclined and past Bentong, traffic is snarling heading to Permatang Pauh in Kedah as well.
Down south, Senai South to Kulai and Kempas To Dato Onn are all experiencing traffic congestions.
