TNB Says Will Deploy 10,000 Workers To Guarantee Stable Electricity

Tenaga Nasional Berhad has taken a big step towards ensuring power supply during the festivity is not disrupted by assigning nearly 10,000 workers of various levels along its service chain in eleven states across the peninsula, to guarantee the stability of electricity supply during the festivity.

Newly appointed, President and Chief Executive Officer of TNB, Datuk Ir. Megat Jalaluddin Megat Hassan said, the utility company will increase the monitoring with the usual 72-hour period during the first day of Hari Raya where it is the most critical where people are busy making preparations, especially at night.

It also during these times that the public is advised to be vigilant if they are leaving their homes for a long period of time by ensuring all electrical items are switched off and unplugged. And during preparations for the festive ensure not to overload the capacity by having too many electrical components on at the same time.
