In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2024 and subject to the official announcement by the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal, the stock market will be closed if the 1st day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Wednesday, 10 April 2024 and the 2nd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri on Thursday, 11 April 2024
However, both securities and derivatives markets will be opened under normal trading hours on 9 April 2024 but there will be no T+1 Night Trading session for derivatives market.
Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will resume operations on Friday, 12 April 2024.
Second scenario. if the 1st day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Thursday, 11 April 2024 and the 2nd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri on Friday, 12 April 2024, both securities and derivatives markets will be opened under normal trading hours on 10 April 2024. However, there will be no T+1 Night Trading session for derivatives market.
Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will be closed on Thursday and Friday (11 April and 12 April 2024). The market wiill resume operations on Monday, 15 April
2024.
