Heavy Traffic Reported From North and South, Causeway

The traffic from last night has not eased as heavy load of vehicles continue to seen at all directors, the highway authority reported slow movement of cars along both north south bound and south north bound.

As of 11.50am today, north bound vehicles are slow moving from Permatang Pauh to Sg Dua, south bound Sungai Petani to Sungai Buaya, intermittent traffic is reported. Accident near Tapah is causing a slowdown but no lanes are blocked said the PLUS.

Along KL Karak highway, traffic is also reported to be slow from Bentong to High Hill. Down south, the causeway is stuck as many Singaporeans who came down to are returning.

The authorities are advising road users to be alert and pay attention while driving.
