Ho Hup Disposes Its Bukit Jalil Land To Exsim For RM110 Million

Ho Hup Construction Company Berhad, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Bukit Jalil Development Sdn Bhd, has informed that it had entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with EXSIM Persiaran Jalil Sdn Bhd. The agreement is for the proposed disposal of a parcel of freehold commercial development land that measures 12,492 square metres (equivalent to approximately 134,463 square feet or 3.09 acres) for a cash consideration of RM110 million.

The land is located within Bukit Jalil, alongside Jalan 13/155C, Bandar Bukit Jalil and Persiaran Jalil Utama. It is approximately 17 kilometres south-west of the Kuala Lumpur city centre, and accessible from the city centre via Jalan Tun Razak, SMART highway, Kuala Lumpur-Seremban highway and Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS).

The immediate locality of the land is generally residential in character, comprising of 2-storey terrace, 2 and 3-storey semi-detached houses, apartments, condominiums, service apartments, along with commercial developments such as high-rise office buildings, small office-versatile-office (SOVO), 3 to 4-storey shop offices and shopping and retail centres.

Ho Hup said the vendor has made payment of RM4.25 million of development charges with an outstanding amount of RM10.60 million to be paid in instalments.
