KLSE Breaches 1600 For The First Time Since Pandemic

The Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange breached the long psychological hurdle of 1600 when it surged passed to reach a all time high of 1610 at noon toady.

The pandemic saw the stock market plunge to a low 1,291 on March 19, a day after the lockdown was announced.

Notably, KLSE has struggled to regain its footing ever since until now. 2024 has seen robust movement at the markets with KLSE surging more than 140 points from January.
