Toyota’s Q4 Profit Jumps 78% While Full Year NI Doubles To 4.9 Trillion Yen

Toyota Motor on Wednesday posted a roughly 78 per cent rise in fourth-quarter operating profit at 1.11 trillion yen ($7.2 billion) boosted by a weak yen and solid sales.

The result compared to 626.9 billion yen in the same period last year, and the 747.3 billion yen average of nine analyst estimates compiled by LSEG.

For the full year, FY24, Toyota saw a sales revenues 45,095.3 billion yen (an increase of 7,941.0 billion yen or 21.4% compared with FY2023), while operating income was at 5,352.9 billion yen (an increase of 2,627.9 billion yen
or 96.4% compared with FY2023)

Income before income taxes was also up at 6,965.0 billion yen (an increase of 3,296.3 billion yen or 89.8% compared with FY2023) as for Net income attributable to Toyota Motor Corporation doubled to 4,944.9 billion yen (an increase of 2,493.6 billion yen or 101.7% compared with FY2023)
