Red Hat Unveils Major Machine Learning Enhancements

Red Hat, Inc., has announced significant advancements in Red Hat OpenShift AI, the open hybrid artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) platform, built on Red Hat OpenShift, aims to help enterprises develop and deploy AI-enabled applications at scale across hybrid cloud environments.

Red Hat, Chief Product Officer and Senior Vice President, Ashesh Badani said “Bringing AI into the enterprise is no longer an ‘if,’ but a ‘when.’ Red Hat OpenShift AI offers a reliable, flexible platform that enhances productivity and supports intelligent applications across the hybrid cloud.”

The platform brings flexibility and choice to enterprises, enhancing innovation and productivity, it supports both predictive and generative AI models and can operate in on-premises datacenters, multiple public clouds, and edge locations. This flexibility addresses challenges such as increased hardware costs, data privacy concerns, and trust issues with SaaS-based models.

According to IDC, successful AI adoption requires modernizing applications and data environments, breaking down system and storage barriers, and deploying workloads across diverse locations. Red Hat’s AI strategy supports these needs by providing a flexible hybrid cloud platform that can integrate customer data with pre-trained models and support various hardware and software accelerators.
