WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA), a subsidiary of Warisan TC Holdings Bhd, has unveiled the 2024 GAC AION Y Plus all-electric crossover model in Malaysia.
As the sole distributor of the GAC AION electric vehicles (EVs) brand since January this year, WTCA launched this latest addition during the Press Day of the Malaysia Autoshow 2024, organised by the Malaysia Automotive Robotics & IoT Institute (MARii) at MAEPS, Serdang.
The GAC AION Y Plus, available in ‘Elite’ and ‘Premium’ variants, offers Malaysian EV buyers a unique twist to the premium EV crossover segment. Priced competitively at RM119,800.00 (Elite) and RM135,800.00 (Premium), the GAC AION Y Plus boasts seven exterior color options and five interior colorway choices, providing customers with a total of 35 combinations to choose from.
In addition to the attractive pricing and customizable options, WTCA is offering a comprehensive warranty and after-sales package for the GAC AION Y Plus, including an 8-year/160,000 KM base vehicle warranty and an 8-year/200,000 KM EV battery, Drive Motor, and Electric Control warranty.
To sweeten the deal, WTCA has introduced an exclusive early bird offer for the first 200 bookings of the GAC AION Y Plus. Early adopters will receive a free 7kW Home Wallbox Charger worth RM3,500 and RM1,000 Free JomCharge Charging Credits.
These rewards are made possible through partnerships with EV Connection Sdn Bhd (EVC), Malaysia’s leading EV Charging Company, aimed at enhancing access to vehicle charging for customers.
Furthermore, early adopters will have the option to choose from two specially curated accessories packages: the Outdoor Adventure Lifestyle Set or the “Me-Time” Mobile Theatre Set, depending on their preference.
Deliveries of the GAC AION Y Plus Elite variant will begin in June 2024, with deliveries of the Premium variant starting from July 2024 onwards.
This launch marks a significant milestone for WTCA and GAC AION, following the successful debut of the GAC GS3 EMZOOM premium compact crossover in April this year.
