Air Selangor stated that the temporary shutdown of the Labohan Dagang Water Treatment Plant at 10:00 pm, 23 May 2024 (Thursday) due to a power supply disruption caused by emergency repair works on electrical equipment will cause water disruption in Kuala Langat.
Following the temporary shutdown of the Labohan Dagang WTP, parts of the Kuala Langat region are expected to experience unscheduled water supply disruption starting from 10:00 pm.
The water management company said alternative assistance through water tankers will be mobilised to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres and funerals during the unscheduled water supply disruption.
