MYStartup, in collaboration with startup accelerator Watchtower and Friends (WTF), has announced the return of its MYStartup Pre-Accelerator programme. The applications are open until June 23, 2024, for pre-seed and early-stage startups across various sectors, with a particular focus on technology-led solutions. The programme is initiated by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and led by MYStartup.
The pre-accelerator programme will run from June to September 2024, offering selected startups a tailored module designed to accelerate development and scale growth. Participants will gain access to world-class mentorship and an outcome-based curriculum. The top five startups from the cohort will also qualify for an intensive fundraising accelerator programme, providing extensive support beyond the initial pre-accelerator phase.
The success of the previous cohort underscores the programme’s impact, with startups like Deepsight securing a grant of RM100,000 and launching its product on Google Play and the App Store, alongside forming strategic partnerships. Additionally, startups such as Rabt, PropMoth, and PyceHub are in discussions to secure potential investments worth a cumulative RM1.5 million.
