In celebration of its 15th anniversary, Malaysia’s Green Building Index (GBI) has announced a 20 percent discount on registration fees for new project applications submitted from September 1, 2024, onwards.
This offer is available to projects where architects and engineers are registered members of Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) or the Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM).
GBI Chairman, Adjunct Prof. Ar. Adrianta Aziz, highlighted that this initiative aims to incentivise project owners who choose PAM and ACEM members for consultancy services while expressing gratitude for the continued support GBI has received over the years.
“Since our inception in 2009, GBI has certified 702 buildings, covering 316.4 million square feet of Gross Floor Area, significantly reducing Malaysia’s greenhouse gas emissions by 1.829 million tons of CO² annually,” said Ar. Adrianta.
With 500 more buildings registered for certification, GBI continues to lead the way as Malaysia’s premier green certification body, committed to promoting sustainable development.
