The MRT3 Circle Line, designed to complete the public rail loop in the Klang Valley, is set to welcome passengers soon.
From today, the public can view the alignment map and provide feedback on this 51-km rail line that encircles Malaysia’s capital city.
Starting from September 2 and continuing until December 2, 2024, this initiative offers the public a vital chance to review and share feedback on the proposed alignment, site plans, contextual information, and other important project details.
The MRT Circle Line (MRT3) is an orbital rail line designed to enhance connectivity across the Klang Valley’s public transport network. Spanning 51 kilometers, the Circle Line will link with existing MRT, LRT, KTM, and Monorail lines through 10 strategically located interchange stations, offering shorter alternative routes and improving access to underserved areas.
Throughout the three-month Public Inspection exercise, detailed project information, including alignment maps and site plans, will be available for public review.
MRT Corp has established 35 designated locations across the Klang Valley, including 8 MRT Info Kiosks and 27 MRT Info Trucks. The complete schedule and locations can be found on the MRT3 Public Inspection Microsite at www.mymrt.com.my.
For those unable to visit in person, the Public Inspection materials and feedback submission options are also accessible online via the microsite. Additionally, inquiries can be directed to the MRT Corp Customer Careline at 1 800-88-6782.
This Public Inspection exercise is conducted in accordance with Section 84 of the Land Public Transport Act 2010, emphasising MRT Corp’s commitment to engaging the public in the development of the MRT Circle Line, which aims to improve mobility and ease of travel for the growing population of Kuala Lumpur.
