Bursa Malaysia Declines Amid Regional Rally, FBM KLCI Falls 4.99 Points

Bursa Malaysia experienced a dip on Thursday, overshadowing the positive sentiment from China’s stimulus measures and a rally in regional markets.

By midday, the benchmark FBM KLCI had dropped 4.99 points to 1,668.39, with notable losses in the utility and plantation sectors. Throughout the early session, the index fluctuated within a narrow range of 1,666.93 to 1,672.6.

In blue chip performances, YTL Power decreased by 11 sen to RM3.78, YTL Corp lost 12 sen to RM2.54, and Tenaga Nasional fell by two sen to RM15.
