Exsim Ipoh City Sdn Bhd has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with Liew Yin Yin Land Sdn Bhd for the development of 1.291 acres of land in Ipoh into serviced apartments that has an estimated gross development value of RM230 million.
Separately, Exsim Hospitality Behad has inked an MOU with Exsim Ipoh City on the possibility of managing the hospitality services of the apartments through its short-term rental hospitality brand – Mana Mana Hospitality.
The group noted that the development will feature a hospitality building comprising of 420 serviced apartments and 4 retail units with adaptable layout options ranging from 484 sq ft to 904 sq ft. that includes a functional dual key type.
Once completed, MMH will manage the operations in line with its strategic vision of delivering high-quality, customer-focused staycations by using placemaking as the base idea to transform properties into aesthetically appealing and stylish designs crafted to suit vacationers needs.
The group said the opportunities are abundant for the said development as Perak has attracted 8.4 million tourists in 2024 – amounting to a 135% increase from the Visit Perak Year 2017 campaign.
