NEXG Berhad (formerly known as Datasonic Group Berhad) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary has secured four Letters of Extension from the Ministry of Home Affairs for services and supplies for the National Registration Department and the Immigration Department of Malaysia.
The total contract value of over RM45 million is expected to collectively contribute positively to NEXG Group’s earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending March 31, 2026, and for the duration of the respective contracts.
The secured extensions include. a comprehensive maintenance service for Card Personalisation Centres. A 14-month extension, effective from December 1, 2025, to January 31, 2027. This contract carries an additional fifth ceiling contract value of RM15,859,515.73
Supply of MyKad, MyTentera, MyPOCA Raw Cards and Consumables: A six-month extension, also commencing December 1, 2025, and running until May 31, 2026. This contract, crucial for the ongoing issuance of national identification documents by Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara, has an additional third ceiling contract value of RM29,677,937.50.
Supply of Malaysian Passport Documents (Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia): A six-month extension, effective from December 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026. This extension ensures the continued supply of essential travel documents to Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia (Immigration Department of Malaysia).
Supply of Polycarbonate Biodata Pages (Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia): Also a six-month extension, commencing December 1, 2025, and concluding on May 31, 2026. These pages are a critical component in the production of secure Malaysian passports.
