My Chemical Romance (MCR) is making a long-awaited return to Malaysia — and the band is now staying for a second night. Following a rapid sell-out of their first Kuala Lumpur show, the American rock band has added an extra date to their “Long Live The Black Parade” World Tour.
Interest in MCR’s return to Malaysia surged the moment tickets for their concert on April 30, 2026 (Thursday) went on sale. Over 60,000 tickets were snapped up within three hours, leaving many fans empty-handed due to the rush.
Responding to the passionate demand, concert organiser Hello Universe confirmed a second show for May 1, 2026, also at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil.
Tickets for the second show will go on sale at 10am on August 1, 2025 via GoLive Asia’s website and app. Details about pre-sale access will be released in the days leading up to the launch. Pricing and seating are expected to follow the same structure as the first show, which included options from general admission to premium VIP.
Concert organiser Hello Universe has confirmed that this will be the only additional show in Southeast Asia. For fans in the region, this could be the final chance to catch My Chemical Romance live on this tour.
My Chemical Romance’s upcoming Malaysian concerts mark nearly two decades since their last appearance in the country, having last performed in 2007.
The band’s setlists are expected to feature hits spanning their career, thrilling both long-time fans and new listeners. Aside from Malaysia, other Southeast Asian tour stops include Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia—though only Kuala Lumpur will host two shows.
