The event drew over 200 participants, including 50 Malaysian exporters and around 150 Chinese companies from Jiangsu, Jilin, Liaoning and Guangxi provinces. More than 200 one-to-one meetings were held, underscoring growing interest in strategic partnerships between both nations.

“The collaboration between MATRADE and China Construction Bank plays a significant role in enabling Malaysian exporters to venture into fast-growing second-tier cities like Nanning and other third-tier cities, with the support of financing facilities by CCB,” said MATRADE Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Sri Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz.

Following the session, several Memoranda of Understanding and Letters of Intent were signed at the Malaysia Pavilion during CAEXPO, translating the business discussions into tangible prospects.

The initiative marks another milestone in Malaysia-China trade ties and signals strong potential for future collaboration in high-growth sectors supporting sustainable economic development.
