Merkel Clinic Sets National Record For Monthly Stem Cell Application Sales

Yakin Splendour Global Holdings Bhd announced that its subsidiary, Merkel Clinic at Sunway Velocity, has been officially recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) for achieving the highest monthly sales volume of MSC stem cell treatments in the country.

The recognition highlights Merkel Clinic as the first and only regenerative medicine clinic in Malaysia to receive such an accolade. According to MBR, the milestone reflects the clinic’s strong reputation, consumer trust and growing influence in the regenerative medicine sector.

The achievement was celebrated with the presence of Jwan Heah Yeow Hooi, Chief Operating Officer of MBR, Surya Kumar A/L Subramaniam, Deputy Undersecretary of MOSTI’s Strategic Technology and S&T Applications Division and Deputy Minister of Health Malaysia, Dato Lukanisman bin Awang Sauni, who commended Yakin Splendour’s contributions to advancing biotechnology and national healthcare.

The event also saw the appointment of Datuk Leong Mun Yee, former national diving champion and current national coach, as testimonial ambassador for the clinic’s Physoxic Stem Cell Application Technology, emphasising the benefits of regenerative medicine for health, recovery and vitality.

Patrick Tan, Founder and CEO of Yakin Group of Companies, said the Group aims to make stem cell therapy more affordable and accessible within the next two years through innovations such as bioreactor-based mass production. Datuk Steven Lai, Director of Yakin Splendour, highlighted the importance of stem cell application technology in supporting healthy ageing and national health management priorities.
