Valentino Strengthens Executive Team With New CMO Hire

Valentino has appointed Liran Peterzil as chief marketing officer, effective March 2. He joins from Compagnie Financière Richemont and Giorgio Armani and will report to CEO Riccardo Bellini. Peterzil replaces Yigit Turhan, who has left the Rome-based house.

He brings more than 20 years of experience across luxury, hospitality and entertainment.

His CV includes senior roles at Richemont, Armani, SBE Entertainment Group and Creative Artists Agency, as well as advisory work with government and cross-industry partners. In short, he knows how to build brands across sectors and markets.

At Valentino, Peterzil will lead global brand strategy, overseeing marketing, communications, events and media relations. It’s a central role at a time when the business is refining its direction under Bellini, who took the helm in September 2025.

The appointment is part of a broader leadership reset. Laurent Bergamo was named deputy CEO in December, and Davide Tosi joined as chief merchandising officer from Gucci.
