Tourism Malaysia has partnered Watsons Malaysia to launch a health and beauty retail hub at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2, as part of efforts to strengthen the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign.
The KLIA T2 outlet is positioned as a one-stop retail destination for international travellers, featuring curated products, local brands and promotional offerings upon arrival.
The initiative was officiated by Deputy Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Chiew Choon Man and Caryn Loh, marking a public-private collaboration to support tourism growth.
Chiew said the partnership reflects stronger private sector participation in promoting Malaysia and improving the overall visitor journey.
He added that VM2026 will focus on positioning Malaysia as a sustainable and culturally rich destination.
Watsons Malaysia said it will leverage its global network of over 170 million members to promote Malaysia, alongside introducing the Watsons One Pass programme, allowing international members to earn reward points at local prices.
The outlet also features dedicated space for Malaysian-made beauty and wellness products, aimed at increasing exposure for local brands.
Tourism Malaysia said it will continue working with industry players to expand similar initiatives ahead of VM2026.
