Aurelius Technologies Announces Dividend Despite Net Profit Falling to RM9.18 Million

Aurelius Technologies Bhd has declared a first single-tier dividend of 0.65 sen per share despite a decline in profitability for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026 (1Q26), with net profit falling to RM9.18 million from RM16.1 million a year earlier.

Aurelius Technologies said softer revenue and margin pressures weighed on the earnings performance as the company’s revenue dropped 11.8% year-on-year to RM130.4 million, down from RM147.9 million previously.

“The decline in revenue was due to weaker contributions across key segments, particularly communication and IoT products, alongside electronics devices and semiconductor components,” the company said in a filing.

It added that the weaker performance was attributed to global supply chain disruptions, geopolitical tensions, currency headwinds from a softer US dollar, and rising operating costs driven by inflationary pressures.

Nevertheless, the company emphasised that the communication and IoT segment remained the largest revenue contributor at RM112.6 million, while electronics devices generated RM9 million and semiconductor components RM5.2 million. A newly introduced automotive electronics segment contributed RM3.6 million.

Despite the earnings decline, the company declared a first single-tier dividend of 0.65 sen per share. The ex-date is June 16, 2026, with entitlement on June 18 and payment scheduled for July 7, 2026.

Looking ahead, Aurelius Technologies said it maintained a cautiously optimistic outlook, supported by an order book of RM450.9 million as of May 11, 2026, while warning of continued uncertainty from geopolitical risks, trade disruptions and ongoing cost pressures in the global electronics manufacturing services sector.
