Ecobuilt Holdings Bhd has announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer, Fong Tuck Yong, effective June 1, 2026, he joined the group on June 2025.
The construction group said Fong stepped down from his role to pursue other interests.
During his tenure, he was tasked with leading the group’s strategic growth initiatives and strengthening its position within Malaysia’s construction sector.
Prior to joining Ecobuilt, Fong built a reputation for managing complex construction projects, with experience spanning project execution, strategic planning and operational leadership. He was also recognised for his focus on project delivery, safety standards and regulatory compliance.
When announcing his appointment, the company had highlighted his extensive industry expertise, leadership capabilities and ability to drive innovation, improve stakeholder engagement and support Ecobuilt’s long-term sustainable growth ambitions.
The company did not disclose further details regarding a successor to the CEO position or any interim leadership arrangements following Fong’s departure.
