McDonald’s Singapore is tapping into football fever ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 with a new campaign featuring limited-edition meals, collectibles and a late-night watch party, the company said.
The fast-food chain will roll out a series of themed promotions starting this month, including Happy Meal toys, collectible cups and exclusive merchandise featuring global football icons such as David Beckham, Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry.
From June 4, every Happy Meal will come with one of 12 FIFA World Cup 2026 Squishmallows plush toys, with new characters released weekly throughout the campaign. The toys feature Squishmallows characters dressed in football-inspired jerseys designed specifically for the collaboration.
From June 11, McDonald’s Singapore will introduce FIFA World Cup-themed meals including Honey Soy Chicken McCrispy and Spicy Jalapeno Chicken McNuggets alongside existing menu favourites. Customers who purchase selected meals will receive one of six collectible cups featuring football stars such as Son Heung-min and Lamine Yamal as well as the brand mascot Grimace.
A limited-edition football merchandise set featuring a T-shirt and pin set will be available from June 29 via the McDonald’s app and can be redeemed using MyMcDonald’s Rewards points.
The campaign will also culminate in a World Cup final watch party at McDonald’s Marine Cove on July 20 from 2am to 6am. Attendees will be able to enjoy unlimited Chicken McNuggets and fries during the event, with entry redeemable through the app.
The initiative reflects McDonald’s push to blend entertainment, sport and dining into a single fan experience as global excitement builds for the tournament.
