EITA Resources Bhd has secured a RM40.93 million contract to supply and deliver busduct systems for a data centre project in Johor, strengthening the group’s position in Malaysia’s growing data centre infrastructure sector.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said its wholly owned subsidiary, EITA Power System Sdn Bhd (EPS), had accepted a Letter of Award from an undisclosed party identified as Company A.
The contract covers the supply and delivery of busduct systems for the data centre development and will run from May to September 2026.
EITA said the contract value stands at RM40.925 million.
The identity of Company A and additional details of the project were not disclosed due to confidentiality obligations under a non-disclosure agreement signed between the parties.
EPS, which was incorporated in 1993, is involved in the marketing and distribution of fire-resistant cables, electrical and electronic equipment, as well as the provision of electrical and security system solutions.
The latest contract comes amid sustained investment in Malaysia’s data centre industry, particularly in Johor, which has emerged as a major regional hub for hyperscale and cloud infrastructure developments.
While EITA did not disclose the financial impact of the award, the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings over the project period through the second half of 2026.
