Vietnam’s Landscapes Take The Lead In A New Year-Round Travel Focus

Vietnam is increasingly being positioned as a destination to visit year-round rather than for a single peak season. Reflecting this shift, Banyan Group has launched Vietnam For Every Season, a destination showcase highlighting how different regions of the country change throughout the year.

The initiative focuses on four locations, each tied to a distinct season and travel experience. Together, they showcase Vietnam’s varied landscapes, local traditions and cultural attractions.

From July to September, the spotlight is on Lang Co, where lotus blooms transform the region’s lagoons. The season offers visitors a chance to explore Vietnam’s national flower alongside the central coast’s beaches and natural scenery.

Attention then shifts north from October to December, when Mu Cang Chai’s rice terraces turn gold for the annual harvest. The season also coincides with the bloom of To Day flowers, which provides visitors a chance to experience the traditions of the H’Mong community.

From January to March, the focus moves to Ho Tram. About two hours from Ho Chi Minh City, the coastal destination offers warm weather during the winter months, making it a popular choice for a beach escape.

The final stop is Quan Lan Island from April to June. Known for its beaches and clear waters, the island highlights a quieter side of Vietnam before the summer travel season begins.

The year-round showcase also reflects Banyan Group’s growing presence in Vietnam. The hospitality group now operates six properties across the country’s northern, central and southern regions under its Banyan Tree, Angsana, Dhawa and Garrya brands.

The expansion is set to continue with the opening of Garrya Danang, the brand’s second property in Vietnam and its first in Da Nang.

As travellers increasingly plan trips around seasonal experiences rather than fixed itineraries, Vietnam’s changing landscapes offer a different reason to return throughout the year.
