Industrial filtration engineering specialist Pan Merchant Bhd has secured a RM17 million contract to supply membrane filtration solutions for the food processing industry in Malaysia.
The contract was awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary, PMI-Technology Sdn Bhd (PMIT), which will undertake the supply, delivery, installation supervision, testing and commissioning of the membrane filtration systems.
The project, awarded by a Malaysian incorporated engineering company specialising in engineering design and process technologies, is expected to be completed within 12 months from the commencement date, subject to the contract terms and conditions.
Pan Merchant Managing Director Wong Voon Ten said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026, and subsequent financial years throughout the project duration.
Wong emphasised that the group remains focused on expanding its presence in the industrial and process sectors by leveraging its expertise in customised solid-liquid filtration solutions.
