Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Transition and Water Transformation Minister Datuk Amar Fadillah Yusof will undergo heart bypass surgery at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in the near future, following advice from his medical specialists.
In a statement on Monday, his press secretary, Datuk Hjh Misiah Taib, said Fadillah’s condition is stable, but he has been advised to rest completely and is not encouraged to receive visitors to ensure his treatment and recovery proceed smoothly.
The family has called on the public to pray for the success of his surgery and treatment and for his speedy recovery so that he can return to his duties as usual.
The family also expressed its appreciation to all parties for their prayers, support and concern.
