ISRA Consulting has rebranded as ISRA Associates, marking its expansion from a Shariah-focused consultancy into a broader advisory firm serving the evolving needs of the global Islamic finance industry.
The firm also launched a new corporate website reflecting its expanded capabilities in strategy, governance, capacity building, ecosystem development and sustainable impact.
ISRA Associates chairman Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Mohd Azmi Omar said the rebranding represented more than a name change, describing it as the next stage in the organisation’s development after years of serving the Islamic finance sector in Malaysia and abroad.
Built on ISRA Consulting’s expertise in Shariah advisory and governance, Azmi shared that ISRA Associates will work with governments, regulators, financial institutions and industry partners to turn ideas into practical outcomes.
“As part of the INCEIF ecosystem, the firm will collaborate with INCEIF University and ISRA Institute to translate research and industry knowledge into implementable solutions,” Azmi said.
Meanwhile, Bank Negara Malaysia deputy governor Adnan Zaylani Mohamad Zahid said the expanded platform would strengthen Malaysia’s ability to share its Islamic finance expertise internationally and support the development of sustainable and inclusive financial ecosystems.
