The RM831 million Hospital Kapar in Selangor is expected to be completed by March 26, 2027, as construction of the 312-bed facility progresses towards its targeted completion date.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) said the project has recorded satisfactory physical progress and is approaching the implementation schedule set for the development.
The latest progress of the project was reviewed during a working visit to the Hospital Kapar construction site by MOH Secretary-General Datuk Seri Hasnol Zam Zam Ahmad recently.
During the visit, Hasnol was briefed by the Public Works Department (JKR) and the Selangor State Health Department (JKNS) on the latest developments and construction progress of the hospital.
Once completed, Hospital Kapar is expected to strengthen healthcare capacity in the Kapar area and surrounding communities by providing 312 beds and additional medical facilities to meet growing healthcare needs in the region.
The development forms part of the Government’s efforts to expand public healthcare infrastructure and improve access to medical services, particularly in areas experiencing population and economic growth.
With its targeted completion in March 2027, the project is expected to provide an important addition to Selangor’s public healthcare network once construction and commissioning works are completed.
