Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected in parts of Kedah, Pahang, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan until 7 pm today, according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).
The warning, issued at 5 pm, covers Yan, Kuala Muda, Sik and Baling in Kedah; Raub and Bentong in Pahang; Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Hulu Langat in Selangor; and Jelebu in Negeri Sembilan.
The affected areas may experience thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rain and strong winds during the warning period.
The warning is in effect until 7 pm on August 9.
