Formula 1 fans heading to Singapore for this year’s night race will get a little more Ferrari than usual, with Marina Bay Sands set to turn into a celebration of the Italian marque ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix.
The festivities will begin with a Scuderia Ferrari HP SF21 show car taking centre stage at the Tower 1 hotel lobby from Sept 14 to Oct 12.
The display will run through race weekend, with the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix scheduled for Oct 9 to 11 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
But the Ferrari takeover does not stop at the race car.
From Sept 25 to Oct 25, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands will host a Ferrari Lifestyle boutique, marking the first time the luxury brand’s lifestyle concept has been brought to Asia.
MBS will also launch its Home of Champions programme from Sept 28 to Oct 11, bringing together a range of F1-themed experiences across the resort.
The programme will include motorsport talks, luxury retail pop-ups and exclusive dining experiences, giving visitors plenty to do beyond watching the cars take to the Marina Bay circuit.
And if Ferrari red is not already hard to miss, MBS will make sure it becomes even harder.
Its three hotel towers and ArtScience Museum will be illuminated in Ferrari red every evening from 7pm to 11.59pm throughout the programme. The lighting will be visible across Marina Bay.
The events are part of an extended partnership between Marina Bay Sands and Scuderia Ferrari HP, which began in 2023.
For those looking for a much more extravagant F1 experience, MBS is also offering a S$100,000 five-night hospitality package for up to two people during the Formula 1 season.
The package includes a stay in a Paiza Grand Suite, access to selected events and parties, three-day Paddock tickets and priority access to after-parties at Marquee Singapore.
Guests will also receive dining experiences at Marina Bay Sands and opportunities to meet Ferrari drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
With the Singapore Grand Prix already one of the biggest events on the city’s calendar, the expanded Ferrari presence means the F1 atmosphere will begin well before the first lights go out.
