For the financial quarter ended 30 June 2026, Selangor Dredging Berhad recorded revenue of RM31.88 million, compared with RM61.82 million in the corresponding quarter, while net loss increased from RM2.99 million to RM8.25 million.
SDB said the lower results were mainly due to the timing of revenue and profit recognition from the Group’s development activities, as the current portfolio is at the earlier stages of construction. In addition, prevailing market uncertainties have resulted in higher sales incentives to support sales take-up, while higher construction material and labour costs continued to put pressure on project margins.
During the period, the Group’s results included a contribution of RM3.88 million from Fortress Minerals Limited’s iron ore mining operations.
The Group said it will also continue to develop its pipeline of projects, while earnings from its property development activities are expected to remain gradual in the near term, with contributions expected to strengthen progressively as construction advances and sales are secured.
