Jati Tinggi Group Bhd has secured a RM69.16 million contract to undertake power infrastructure works for a data centre at Banting Technology Park (BTP), Banting, Selangor.
The group said its wholly owned subsidiary, Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd (JTHSB), accepted a Letter of Award from the customer on August 24, 2026 to carry out the works as the main contractor.
The contract, valued at RM69.16 million inclusive of sales and service tax, involves the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of 33kV interim power for the data centre.
Under the contract, JTHSB will undertake engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) works involving 33kV underground cables, as well as the design and construction of a new 33/11kV mobile substation.
The scope also includes the installation of 11kV cables connecting the mobile substation to the data halls, together with the supply and installation of cables, ducting, a 30MVA transformer, 11kV switchgear containers and a metering kiosk for the 33kV incoming supply.
JTHSB will also be responsible for testing, commissioning and the final handover of the infrastructure for commercial operation of the data centre.
The contract is effective from the date of acceptance and runs until November 26, 2026.
