Sri Aman, Sarawak continued to record a very unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) reading of 221 as of 9 am today, according to the Department of Environment (DOE).

The reading places the area in the very unhealthy category, indicating continued deterioration in air quality amid prevailing haze conditions.

The DOE’s latest reading underscores the persistence of haze in Sri Aman, with residents advised to remain alert to changes in air quality and take necessary precautions, particularly those sensitive to air pollution.
