Genting Plantations Berhad has appointed Lee Lip Tsong, Jason as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective Sept 1, 2026, succeeding Ng Say Beng, who retired from the position on the same day.
The plantation group said the 45-year-old Malaysian executive brings more than two decades of experience in accounting and finance, including about 17 years with the group.
Lee began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2002 before joining Genting Plantations as a Senior Accountant in 2009. He has since held various positions within the plantation group.
Prior to his appointment as CFO, Lee served as Vice President – Finance, where he was responsible for overseeing the group’s finance operations in Indonesia.
He currently also holds directorships in various subsidiaries within the Genting Plantations group.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce in Accounting, Banking and Finance from Monash University. He is professionally qualified with CPA Australia and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
His appointment comes following the retirement of Ng Say Beng, 60, as Genting Plantations’ CFO, also effective Sept 1.
