The Malaysian Embassy in Doha has advised Malaysians in Qatar to stay alert and monitor developments following the latest escalation in tensions in the region.
In a notice posted on Facebook, the embassy urged Malaysians to follow notices issued by Qatari authorities and reminded those travelling to or transiting through Qatar to check the latest flight schedules before their journeys.
Malaysians requiring assistance can contact the embassy via phone or email.
The advisory follows reports of fresh US strikes on Iran on Tuesday and retaliatory attacks by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps against US bases and assets in the region.
