Unifi TV is giving all Malaysians free access to its full line-up of 73 premium channels, including exclusive HBO and Cinemax channels, from August 31 to September 30 in conjunction with the 2026 Hari Kebangsaan and Hari Malaysia celebrations.
The offer is also open to non-Unifi customers, who only need to sign up with an email address to access the channels without making any payment or taking up a subscription.
The channels can be streamed through the Unifi TV 2.0 app on compatible Smart TVs, mobile phones, tablets and Android TV boxes.
The line-up covers movies, entertainment, sports, kids’ programming, news, lifestyle and learning content. Viewers can catch titles including Unifi TV Original Bisikan Pontianak on DEGUP, Lanterns on HBO, the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards live on HITS NOW, MotoGP’s San Marino Grand Prix and Formula 1’s Italian Grand Prix on SPOTV and beIN SPORTS.
After the promotion ends, Unifi TV will continue offering 22 channels for free from October 1 onwards.
The permanent free line-up will comprise the existing 16 free-to-air channels alongside six additional premium channels: DEGUP HD, Dunia Sinema HD, Sensasi HD, Inspirasi HD, Pesona HD and Al Jazeera.
Viewers will automatically retain access to the 22 channels after the promotional period without needing to cancel, re-register or subscribe.
TM’s Chief Business and Consumer Officer Anand Vijayan said the initiative marked the first time Unifi TV had made its entire channel line-up available to Malaysians for free for a month.
The move comes as part of TM’s 80th anniversary celebrations and Unifi TV’s efforts to expand access to digital entertainment services.
