SNS Network 1H26 Net Profit Halves To RM15.6 Million

SNS Network Technology Bhd’s net profit for the first half ended July 31, 2026 (1H26), fell 49.4% to RM15.6 million from RM30.8 million a year earlier, as revenue nearly halved on a high comparative base and delayed product deliveries.

Revenue for the six-month period dropped 51.4% to RM1.25 billion from RM2.57 billion previously.

For the second quarter, revenue declined 54.2% to RM801.78 million from RM1.75 billion a year earlier. SNS said the corresponding quarter had benefited from substantial orders secured through its commercial channel, while the latest quarter was also affected by ICT products not being delivered by suppliers in time due to market supply constraints.

The company stressed that the lower quarterly revenue largely reflected the timing of inventory deliveries and sales recognition rather than weaker customer demand, with its underlying ICT products business remaining relatively resilient.

Looking ahead, SNS expects demand for ICT products and services to remain supported by digitalisation, device replacement cycles and government-led technology initiatives.

The group is also expanding its Device-as-a-Service business while building its artificial intelligence infrastructure and services through the SNS AI Factory and SNS AI Cloud, including GPU-as-a-Service offerings aimed at enterprises, government agencies and institutions seeking locally hosted AI computing capacity.

SNS said its AI infrastructure is fully operational, positioning it to pursue customer onboarding, subscription-based services and recurring revenue opportunities as demand for sovereign AI infrastructure and high-performance computing grows.

The board declared a first interim dividend of 0.25 sen per share, amounting to RM4.26 million, payable on Nov 26, 2026.
