Stock Today: Eco World Slips 0.5% Despite RM5 Billion Sales Milestone

Eco World Development Group Bhd shares slipped 1 sen or 0.51% to RM1.94 at 11.49am despite the property developer surpassing RM5 billion in sales for the first time.

The stock opened at RM1.95 and traded between RM1.94 and RM1.95, with 43,000 shares changing hands.

The counter was down from its previous close of RM1.95.

EcoWorld’s sales reached RM4.05 billion in the first 10 months of FY2026, exceeding its RM4 billion full-year target. Including a RM1.01 billion industrial land sale to Tera Data Centers, total sales rose to about RM5.06 billion.

Industrial demand has been a key growth driver, with industrial sales reaching RM2.3 billion for FY2026, accounting for 46% of total sales and rising 91% from FY2025.

The group’s Eco Business Park 7 generated RM942 million in sales within 10 months of its launch, while residential properties contributed RM2.3 billion as at Aug 31.

EcoWorld reported a 20% year-on-year increase in third-quarter FY2026 profit after tax to RM120.8 million, while nine-month profit rose 36% to RM424.3 million.

RHB Research has maintained its BUY call on EcoWorld with a RM2.66 target price, while CIMB Securities retained its BUY call with a RM2.55 target price.
