Landmark Faces Trading Suspension, Delisting After Missing Regularisation Plan Deadline

Landmarks Bhd has been issued a show-cause notice by Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd over the possible suspension and delisting of its securities after failing to submit a regularisation plan within the stipulated timeframe.

The move follows Bursa Securities’ rejection of the company’s application for a further extension of time to submit its proposed regularisation plan.

Landmarks has been classified as an affected listed issuer under the Main Market Listing Requirements since January 2021.

Bursa Securities noted that the company had failed to regularise its condition after not submitting its proposed regularisation plan to either the Securities Commission Malaysia or Bursa Securities for approval by the stipulated deadline of July 28, 2026.

Landmarks had subsequently sought an extension until Jan 28, 2027, but Bursa Securities rejected the application on Oct 2.

Following the rejection, Bursa Securities has given Landmarks five market days, or until Oct 9, to submit written representations supported by documentary evidence explaining why trading in its securities should not be suspended and why the company should not be removed from Bursa Malaysia’s Official List.

Landmarks said it would make further announcements immediately upon any development relating to the matter.
