Zetrix AI Bhd director Wong Thean Soon disposed of a combined 41.39 million shares in the company over two days for approximately RM6.10 million, according to filings spotted by BusinessToday.
The disposals comprised both direct and indirect interests held through Asia Internet Holdings Sdn Bhd.
On Oct 1, Asia Internet Holdings disposed of 20 million shares at 16.5 sen each, representing a transaction value of about RM3.30 million.
This was followed on Oct 2 by Wong’s direct disposal of 3.52 million shares at 13.6 sen apiece, worth about RM478,539.
Asia Internet Holdings also sold another 17.87 million shares at 13 sen each on the same day, for approximately RM2.32 million.
Based on the disclosed transaction prices, the three disposals generated combined proceeds of about RM6.10 million.
Following the transactions, Wong held a direct interest of 478.81 million shares, or 6.063%, in Zetrix AI.
His indirect interest through Asia Internet Holdings stood at 317.17 million shares, or 4.016%, bringing his combined direct and deemed interest to about 795.98 million shares, equivalent to 10.079%.
The percentage interests exclude 180.90 million treasury shares held by Zetrix AI.
This also follows after the Ministry of Transport today suspended MYEG from offering any services to the Road Transport Department after it was revealed that the firm owed over RM300 million to the government.
